I use the PTD381 as a sander for my lathe. After hundreds of hours of use it is still alive as able-bodied as if new. The alone downside is the noise but I'm abiding it is no louder than added air accoutrement just alot louder than my electric assignment I was using. The acceleration is absolute for sanding and the bend allows me to ability central bowls. This apparatus has become one of my favorites!
